Tableau displays the following visual cues in the Data window and the View.
  1. Fields in the Data Window  
The following table explains each of the icons displayed in the Data window. Each icon in the
table can display one of four indicators.

These are the primary fields you will see in the data window. For a complete list, see the topic
"Visual Cues for Fields" in the Tableau Desktop help, accessible from Tableau's Help menu.
